OldCare began in 2007 as part of an academic project for a course in Gerontology. Later this project was developed in the 5th Poliempreende of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, and it was in the Incubator of Companies of the IPB that took the first steps. The promoter of OldCare holds a degree in Gerontology from the School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and currently holds a Master's Degree in Health Services Management from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro.

Because the most important for OldCare is its well-being and its quality of life we put at your disposal professionals with professional and academic training in the health sciences.
Aging is a global phenomenon that will hit our country with a special focus on the next 30 years. We are aware that a personalized response of services has enormous advantages for the elderly, but also implies a higher cost due to its specificity.
Creating excellent answers is not enough, it is necessary to develop solutions that reach all people, with different needs, at different stages of aging, with different economic capacities. Caring always entails high costs, which is why at OldCare we are working together to prevent and promote successful, healthy and active aging.
