What services does OldCare provide?

OldCare is a Portuguese company providing services, support and home care. In this way provides Domiciliary Support; Care of personal hygiene and comfort, help in dressing, food support, mobilizations, placements, transfers; Support in activities of daily living; Nursing support at home; Support in Post-discharge Hospital; Continuous and palliative care at home; Doctor at home; Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation; Physical Maintenance Therapies and Cognitive Stimulation; Adaptation of the housing environment (at the level of accessibilities, toilet adaptation, stair lifts) and Rental of electric articulated beds. It has extensive home care logistics available 24 hours a day.

Where are OldCare services offered?

We have extensive logistics of home care, with a coverage of services in the Districts of Bragança, Vila Real, Porto, Braga, Viana do Castelo, Aveiro, Viseu, Coimbra, Leiria, Lisboa, Santarém and Setúbal. It is a structure coordinated by five Territorial Units: Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro Unit, Douro Litoral e Minho Unit, Beira Litoral and Centro, Unit, Lisboa and Vale do Tejo Unit and VN Famalicão Unit.

These five Units are managed through an Operations and Logistics Center, where the National Information Center is integrated.

How can I start providing these services?

The provision of services is started after 3 steps. The first step is customer service that can be carried out in three different ways: face-to-face, by telephone or by e-mail. The second stage is budgeting and lastly the gerontological evaluation visit.

Is there a service contract?

Yes. A service contract is made in light of the legislation in force for Home Support Service.

How far in advance should I order the services?

In case of being a service of the Plan More Care the minimum period is 48h and the maximum is 72h after the evaluation visit. In case of a personalized service the minimum period is 5 days and the maximum term is 10 days.

Who are OldCare services for?

They are destined for elderly or adult, with reduced mobility, reduced autonomy, partial dependents and totally dependent.

What are the qualifications of OldCare employees?

The OldCare team is composed of health technicians, namely Gerontology, Nursing and Physiotherapy professionals, and by Service Assistants and Geriatric Support.
